Holy spring of Duke Vladimir is located in the woods behind the old airport, in 4.5 km from the Nikolskaya side of the Varzuga. Nikolskaya side is located on the left Varzuga river bank flowing through the village. Holy bubbling spring or, as it is called here, a spring on Sobachiy ruchey, was consecrated in the late 90-ies of the last century by Archbishop Simon, in honor of Duke Vladimir, who baptized Russia. The best time to go to the spring is early morning and preferably with a small group of pilgrims and even better alone, so during the journey there is opportunity for thoughts. When you come to the spring do not talk, joke or laugh. At the bottom of the spring water like seethes. There is a small lake near by the spring and a flooring throw over it. The lake is surrounded crosses, which people set up here as a token of gratitude for the healing. Traditionally it is necessary to pour over water from a scoop three times.
